The Mechanism of Compresehensive Import Supervision Service (CISS) In Pre-Shipment Inspection at PT. Sucofindo Semarang Branch
The purpose of writing this final project is to describe the mechanism of CISS in pre-shipment inspection, the definition and objective of CISS, the types of inspection in CISS, and the critical points of inspection in CISS. The data were collected by interviewing Mr. V, Prio Mudo Purwanto about some information supporting the purposes. The final project was written descriptively.
It was found that the definition of CISS is the service from PT. Sucofindo on behalf of SGS to fulfill the needs of CISS countries, the main activity in CISS is pre-shipment inspection. The mechanism of CISS is divided into 3 steps, they are the mechanism in ordering the inspection, the mechanism of pre-shipment inspection, and the mechanism of issuing the CRF/SL. The types of inspection in CISS are general inspection, quantity inspection, quality inspection and stuffing supervision. The critical points of inspection are quantity, description of the goods, quality, shipping mark, COO, photo taking and level of vigilance.
It can be concluded the duty of PT. Sucofindo Semarang Branch is performing pre-shipment inspection activity as the representative office of PT. Sucofindo Jakarta.
