Mekanisme Pengiriman Ekspor Komoditi Teh dengan Fob menggunakan FCL pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang
Shipping mechanism is done through some phases, starting from preparing commodity which will be exported, packaging commodity which will be exported, up to payment of delivered goods. At Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang Company, tea commodity has different packaging procedures, namely applying paper sack.
The purposes of the final assignment were to find out the agreement with the importer, the quality of the tea commodity required by the importer, and parties involved in the process of goods delivery. By knowing all the items the shipping mechanism of tea commodity at Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang would be known.
The report of the final assignment was written descriptively. The secondary data were obtained through company literatures, internet browsing, and the related object being studied.
Finally, it was concluded that the agreement between the exporter and the importer occurred at the auction. The parties involved in export-import activities were exporter, KPB Jakarta, importer candidate, Importer, EMKL, Treatment Provider, shipping agent, customs and excise, and Bank. The related document were Sales contract, Invoice, Packing list, Statement of Quality, Letter delivery of goods, Shipping Instruction, the notice of export, Approval Export, Bill of Lading, and payment confirmation. Payment system used Advance Payment on document, and goods packaging used paper sack weighing 20kgs, while the Exporter applied Free on Board (FOB) method, and the Container status was Full Container Load ( FCL).
