Penganan klaim Asuransi Marine Cargo Pada PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Cabang Semarang (Studi Kasus PT. Primatexmaco Indonesia)
The objectives of this study were to identify: 1) types of marine cargo claim which were accepted by PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch, 2) the institutions which related to the claim handling of marine cargo insurance process, 3) the procedure of handling the marine cargo insurance claim at PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch, and 4) the documents needed in the process of handling the marine cargo insurance claim at PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch.
This report was written descriptively, by comparing the procedure of handling the marine cargo insurance claim at PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang Branch stated in the in marine cargo policy with the case study of the handling the marine cargo insurance claim procedure at the company.
The result of this study showed that the handling of marine cargo insurance claim at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia Semarang branch with case study of PT. Primatexco Indonesia was predicate the rule in marine cargo policy. The clasification in this claim used conditions, clauses, special conditions and warranties. Because this claim covered in the marine cargo policy so this claim could be accepted by PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia. The institution related to this claim was based on the handling claim of marine cargo . The procedure of process to this claim used instruction in the marine cargo policy. In processing this claim PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia was according to the rule in marine cargo policy. The documents needed and related base from marine cargo policy are in accordance with stipulation policy in marine cargo from center PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia. The documents were adjusted to the rule and proces in handling claim.
