There are many promotion techniques used by a company to increase their sales volume. There are sales promotion, advertising, and personal selling to be used to communicate a product to public, so the demand of the product will increase. CV Excellent is a company engaged in selling computer and graphic needs to determine the appropriate promotional mix to increase their sales volume.
Based on the above descriptions the author is interested in conducting research by taking the title "ANALYSIS THE EFFECT OF PROMOTIONAL COST TO THE SALES VOLUME AT CV. EXCELLENT SEMARANG"
The methods of collecting data were done by observation, literature reviews, interviews, and the data were analyzed by simple regression.

The purposes of this final project were to find out the promotional activities that were undertaken by CV. Excellent Semarang and to identify the influece of promotional cost to increase sales volume at CV. Excellent Semarang.

The result shows that promotional activities that used by company are sales promotion by holding exhibition and advertising to introduce their product. and promotional costs of the company's significant impact on sales volume.

Finally, it is recomended that in carrying out promotional activities CV. Excellent should be working together with Hardware and software suppliers to reduce promotional expenses incurred by the company and also prioritize advertising activities also increased sales promotion activities to promote their products to consumers. By doing this it is expected that the sales volume will increase.
