Strategi distribusi sepeda motor merk Yamaha pada PT. Yamaha Mataram Sakti Cabang Banyumanik Semarang
Together with increasing number of companies,the business competition is getting tighter and tighter.They always compete each other to reach their goals and progress,get profits and keep the survival of the company.
The distribution strategy takes very important roles in reaching the company’s goal,because although the products have been well designed,got fixed priced and supported by promotion activities, it doesn’t guarantee the success of the goods marketing without the support of good distribution. A product won’t be useful for a customer if it’s unavailable at the needed time and place.
The aims of my final project are to know the activities of distribution,the benefits of the applied strategy and handicaps faced by the company.
The data were taken by interview to the marketing department and the method used was descriptive
The distribution strategy used by Yamaha Mataram Sakti,Ltd is selected distribution strategy and the channel used is indirect channel.The benefit of using distribution strategy is that by using agency or dealer it can decrease the operational cost of the distribution activities.
