Pelaksanaan pengiriman komoditi ekspor lewat udara melalui PT Prima internasional cargo Semarang
In Globalization era, businesses compete tightly. The activities of export import are very important in International trade. One of the important activities is transportation, such as by land, by sea or by air.
PT. Prima International Cargo is a Freight forwarder Company that provides the service to handle commodity for export from the loading airport up to the destination airport. Therefore I was inspired to write a final report entitled “The Implementation delivery export commodity by air at PT. Prima Internasional Cargo Semarang”
The purpose of this final report was to describe the implementation of delivery commodity by air at PT. Prima International Cargo Semarang.
The methods of collecting data were observation, interviews and literature. Studies the writing method is descriptive.
The actual export despatched by air at PT. Prima International Cargo starts from accepting documents and cargo from exporter or agent by porter, handling the air document by the staff then issuing AirWay Bill by Airline, packaging the goods, labelling, marking and matching the goods with the data in the documents, then finally delivering the goods
Finally, it was concluded that the most important thing in export implementation by air that was carried out by PT Prima International Cargo was to handle the documents and the cargo in the airport of loading up to the destination airport.
