Analisis pengaruh biaya iklan dan biaya distribusi terhadap jumlah penjualan the botol sosro pada PT Sinar Sosro kantor penjualan Bawen Semarang
There are many promotion techniques used by a company to make the consumer interested in products advertise. One of them is advertising purposing to communicate a product or service to public, so the demand of the product will increase. PT. SINAR SOSRO Sales Office of Bawen needs advertising strategy to increase the sales of “Teh Botol Sosro” product.
The purpose of this final project (1) to indentify the influence of advertising cost to increase the sales of Teh Botol Sosro product at PT. SINAR SOSRO Sales Office Bawen, (2) to indentify the influence of advertising cost to increase the sales of Teh Botol Sosro product at PT. SINAR SOSRO Sales Office Bawen.
Method of collecting data are by doing observation, literature review, interview, and the data are analyzed by simple regression.
The result shows that advertisement strategy is well carried out by the company by using 4 considerations that is the purpose of company to advertise, advertising’s media used by the company, the methods of communicating the advertising, and advertising costs. Advertising media used PT. SINAR SOSRO Sales Office Bawen are X-banner, billboard, PNT, and media above the line (Calendar, T-Shirt, Notebook).
The analysis using simple regression shows that the regression comparison is Y=416136,354+84,236X1+76,384X2. There is a positive and strong influence between advertising cost to total sales that was 59,6%, it means that total sales are influenced by advertising cost variables, while 40,1% is influenced by other factors which change of consumers desire, stage of market competition.
