Analisis pengaruh produk asuransi jiwa terhadap minat masyarakat pada PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office
Marketing is a total system of business activity which is designed to plan, price, promote, and distribute goods and services which can fulfill the needs of the real and potential customers. Marketing activities have important roles to create company profit, because through marketing, products can be distributed. All companies try to reach profit which is mostly influenced by sales volume. The sales volume will increase if the company can figure out exactly what the customers’ need and interest and fulfill it on the product offered which included the product life insurance. The purpose of this report is to analyze the influence of product life insurance to the people’s interest at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office. The data were processed by multiple regression. It was done to analyze the influence between four independents variables to one dependent variable.
Regression analysis was used to analyze whether there are any influences of service insurance toward the customers’ interest. The value of multiple regression was calculated by Statistical Program Social Science (SPSS 11.5 for Windows) software. The result of the coefficient determination showed that product of life insurance didn’t influence the people’s interest significantly. It is recommended that PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office should increase capability of the agent and increase marketing strategy.
