Analisis persepsi pelanggan terhadap surat kabar Suara Merdeka (studi kasus di wilayah Kelurahan Pleburan, Kec. Semarang Selatan, Kota Semarang)
In the era of globalization of information each person needs to know about the situation and condition at the moment. Newspaper is one of the mass media that provide more information.
The purpose of this research is to analyze how the perception of the customer features newspaper Suara Merdeka. Method used is Descriptive Analysis. Used is mean and calculating the frequency distribution. Method of collecting data in this research with interviews, observations and questionnaires. Sample on this research are 100 respondent in the Pleburan.
Based on the analysis of mean and frequency distribution, concluded that the features of the newspaper Suara Merdeka is good. This can be showed in the mean value of each indicator.
The result of the calculation frequency is 66% of respondents agree that the content the news on newspaper Suara Merdeka always good, 67% of respondents agree that the express language used in accordance with (EYD), 49% of respondents agree that the print quality of newspaper Suara Merdeka is good , and 63% of respondents agree that the lay out of newspaper Suara Merdeka is neat and organize.
Based on the conclusions, PT Suara Merdeka suggested to increased the quality of featurenewspaper Suara Merdeka, to feature the newspaper Suara Merdeka better or excellent. It can be conduct increased by providing the quality news, language, print quality and lay out. So, customers are expected to be faithful to the newspaper Suara Merdeka.
