Every company needs marketing in running their business. Marketing includes planning, pricing, promotion, and distribution. Promotion is important as the start up in trade transaction. Exhibition is one of the media of promotion, an event showing goods or service to people, usually in an exhibit hall convention centre, or exhibit space in a hotel. Exhibition includes local, national, and international scope.
The objective of this final report is to know the planning, preparation, implementation, closing, advantages and obstacles of international exhibition by UD Tetap Jaya Art.
The method of writing in this final report is descriptive. Data were collected through interview, literature study, and online method.
It is concluded that in planning: stand selection, transportation’s, accommodation’s, and stand’s budget are necessary; preparation needs catalogue preparation, selection and loading of exhibited handicraft, and stand preparation; implementation UD Tetap Jaya Art for 5 days, has joined opening
ceremony, offering product, distributing catalogue, requesting id card; closing was conducted on the last day, unloading of the stand performed at night after the building is closed and finished within 2x24 hours; the obstacles are related to budget, language difference, competitors, and promotions; the advantages are gaining experience, having good relationship to the committee and visitors.
