Pemeriksaan komoditi ekspor kopi robusta pada PT Sucofindo cabang Semarang
In the globalization era, commerce increases rapidly. The rapid development has caused the domestic and international trade busier. In export import activity of robusta coffee, surveyor has important role for inspecting and researching exported goods. Surveyor issues the surveyor report and inspection certificate that are required by costumer. The inspection certificate was issued to fulfill the letter of credit document which was requested from importer by opening bank. PT SUCOFINDO branch Semarang is an independent marine surveyor and located at Jalan Pemuda 171 Semarang.
The purpose of the final report are to identify the weighing technique of robusta coffee, the sampling technique of robusta coffee, the analyze technique of robusta coffee, the related parties, and the documents of robusta coffee inspection. Data were collected by observation at PT SUCOFINDO BRANCH SEMARANG, interviews, internet and literature studies. The kinds of data are primary data and secondary data. The primary data include that weighing technique of robusta coffee, quality analyze of robusta coffee and after inspection technique of robusta coffee. This final report is written descriptively, using a descriptive statistic as analyze tools.
Finally, it is concluded that firstly the weighing technique of robusta coffee, the sampling technique of robusta coffee, and the analyze technique of robusta coffee are carried out based on National Standardization Agency. Secondly, the related parties of robusta coffee inspection are direct related parties such as exporter, PT SUCOFINDO and importer, and indirect related parties such as that shipping company and opening bank. Thirdly, the required documents are packing list, shipping instruction, letter of credit (L/C), order confirmation, pro forma invoice, form weight list, work instruction, assignment letter, inspect order from exporter, work sheet, and letter of quality declaration from exporter.
