Pengawasan kualitas produk furniture pada PT Cakrawana Furindo Utama Semarang
Nowadays, quality is a basic factor that influences the customer,s choice in purchasing product n serpise, especially in furniture product. PT Cakrawana Furnindo Utama is one of the companies that produces furniture, for example table. PT Cakrawana Furnindo Utama always keeps and improves the quality of products. The main purpose of quality control at PT Cakrawana Furnindo Utama is to produce furniture that fulfill the quality standardization demanded by the customers and keep them statisfy. A good product is a product which is free from damage and defect. The writing methods of this final report were descriptive and analysis. The analysis method used control chart . The methods of collecting data were observation, interviews and literature studies.
The quality control which is done by PT Cakrawana Furnindo Utama is divided into two sections, i.e., quality control of raw material, quality control of producing process, and quality control of finished product. The purpose this analysis is to identify the mistake store level during production process and to evaluate the product quality of PT Cakrawana Furnindo Utama . the calculation of the data is taken from the defective grade found in table furniture . in two years period , from 2007 to 2008, every year, the product have different defective grade . the data calculation in 2007 shows that the defective products were 118, CL =0.07152 . IN 2008 the defective products were 114 CL= 0.078091.
Finally, it was concluded that from 2007 to 2008 the products of PT Cakrawana
Furnindo Utama Semarang have been considering having good quality to be sold.
