Peran dan tugas sekretaris dalam membantu tugas pimpinan bagian bedah plastik Rumah Sakit Dr. Kariadi
A secretary works to support her or his manager’s job. The support will enable the manager to concentrate on the manager’s jobs.
The purpose of the report is to describe the roles and the tasks of the secretary in supporting the manager’s job at the Plastic Surgery Division at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang. The descriptive methods is used in writing this project report. Observation, interview and library study were used to collect data.
It was found that there were five roles had by the secretary, namely doing administrative tasks, keeping the company’s secret, assisting the manager, arranging the manager and as personal assistant for the manager.
Having roles as administrative, she or he had the following tasks: monitoring incoming and out coming letters, archiving document, arranging manager’s job schedule, preparing meeting agenda and arranging manager appointment, after that keeping the company’s secret, she or he had the following tasks: keeping company’s secret and transferring information as soon as possible to the related division, assisting the manager, she or he had the following tasks: archiving document, notes and etc. arranging the manager’s tasks, she or he had the following tasks: setting manager office and fulfilling the needs of manager mass, and as a personal assistant for the manager, she or he had the following tasks: helping finding documents in a short time and checking important document. It is concluded that a secretary of plastic surgery division has a big role in supporting the manager’s job at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang.
