Writing letters is a part of Correspondence, the implementation of exchanging information among organizations in the form of written media. The exchanging information can be in the form of long or short, but detailed, practical and effective messages.
The purposes of the final task were to know the role of the correspondence unit in the management and implementation of administration work at industry and trade board at Central Java Province. The methods used in this final report were observation, internviews, and literature studies.
Correspondence is an activity done by this board as a key element in this administrative work to support many avtivities though letters handling. It helps the management to manage and control the administration work. In this unit, they work routine and continuous work. To be able to retrieve the file soon and in an easy way, the keeping the file of letters, telexes, or faxes should be done chronologically based on the entry of the letters.
