Penanganan impor barang FCL dengan metode door to door pada PT Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang
PT Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang is a Freight Forwardimg company running in export impor activities. PT Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang is also doing services importinggoods by Full Container Load (FCL) or Less Than Container Load (LCL) with method CY-CY, Door-Door and etc. So the title of this final project report is “The Handling of Imported Goods Full Container Load (FCL) With Door to Door Status at PT Arindo Jaya Mandiri Semarang”
The purposes of this final project are to identify the parties involves, procedure of handling imported good FCL with Door to Door method, documents needed in the handling of import FCL with Door to Door method, and costs of freight forwarding. The Data were collected by observation, interview, and literature studies. The method of writing the final project is descriptive.
The result shows that the parties involved in handling import goods FCL Door to Door status are Importer, Shipping Company, Pelindo, Directorate General of Custom and Duties, Disperindag, Insurance Company, and Surveyor. The Procedure handling imported goods FCL Door to Door status from are started Door place of Origin to Door place of Destination. Documents needed in the handling import goods are B/L, Invoice, Packing List, PIB, DO, SPPB, and EIR (Equipment Interchanges Receipt). The costs services of freight forwarding include Ocean Freight, Doc Fee, THC (Terminal Handling Cost) and cost services EMKL (Truck Deport Services Charge).
