A company will always work hard to increase sales volume of their product. In selling their product each company needs a good distribution channel. Distribution implementation is important to reach the purpose, even though the products have good design, and reasonable costs and are supported by promotion activities they will not get a success in marketing without supported by a good distribution.
The main purpose of this report was to recognize the use of distribution strategy and the factors considered to select distribution channel. The methods of collecting data were observation and interviews. The method of writing this final report was descriptive methods. Therefore, this would describe the subject clearly.
To attain the effectiveness and efficiency, PT Fumira selected the level of distribution strategy of zinc product indirectly with retailers and distributors. PT Fumira Semarang used intensive distribution so that the products would be available in the market and consumers can find them easily, also by using appropriate vehicle as transportation
It is recommended for the company to enhance the strategy used with indirect distribution and intensive distribution, and to add the total vehicle to be more effective and efficient in the distribution channel.
