Human resources is an important factory to achieve the company’s business goals, so that employees have the knowledge and skills to works professionally. The failure to manage the employees will causes problems for the company, and sometimes dismissal to employees happens as it.
This research aimed to know the policies about termination of employment for the permanent employees in PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura I Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang.
The method of collecting data in the research about “IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT IN PT (PERSERO) ANKGJASA PURA I AHMAD YANI AIRPORT SEMARANG”, by doing interviews with staff and Deputy of Personnel Manager, observation, and literature methodology.
PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura I Semarang from 2003 until 2009 have made the termination of employment by the company to permanent employees in 2 (two) times, that was in 2003 and 2007. Termination of employment by the company was due to incompetence of employees on the training period, the employee enters the retirement, the employees whose have been terminated would get compensation from the companies that benefit of pensions, old age allowances, old age insurance and workers social security (Jamsostek).
There is not term to dismiss the employee, except to the outsourcing employees. This is because for in accordance with the type of the termination.
The resources of the research of the termination of employment policies in PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura I Semarang, ignores a little to the employment low.
