Analisis variasi desain terhadap peningkatan volume penjualan pada PT Bumi Rotan Jaya Sidoarjo

PT Bumi Rotan Jaya is company household furniture suchas chair and desk. Much demand from customer, will stimulate the increase and multiply the variation of the product design. Variation of design represents the part of competitiveness for company to maintenan achievement. Every customer will buy a product, based on the design, variation of more design, customer can choose the desired product. Variation of design is a factor which can influence sales volume.
The aim of final report was to know, the influence variation in furniture design and volume of sales at PT Bumi Rotan Jaya Sidoarjo for product of furniture from 2004 until 2008. Data were collected by observation, interviews and literature studied.
Volume of sales at PT Bumi Rotan Jaya. Was fluctualding experience stable up and down. The result of analysis sloved that the variation design had significant influence on the sales volume increase Bumi Collection by r = 94,4% and the level of significant reached 0,000 and obtained the equation of Y=(- 779.940)+527.831 X. It shows that if variable of design increased to 1 unit then the volume of sales increased to 527.831. So, that existence of influence which were positive and significant from variation of design to volume of sales. When would also increased too of design variation increased the volume of sale. Conversely if variation of design decreased so it would cause decreased the volume of sale.
Hence, when the product design is innovative and always follows existing trend, it will attract customers to order the product from company which finally improves the sales.
