Aktivitas pengeluaran barang impor dengan kondisi pemuatan barang FCL/FCL pada PT Duta Service Semarang
Indonesia still has high import intensity, therefore, import has become one of the important factors in Indonesian economy. The good implementation of import transaction will not work when it is not supported by the institutions which handle the imported goods and the legalities of the import documents. PT Duta Service is a firm in transportation service providing service on sea expedition delivery, land trucking, and warehousing. This firm sells many services on handling and loading importing goods into containers in many conditions.
The purposes of this final project were to know the responsibility and role of EMKL, identify the documents and related parties involved in the activities of the outflow of import goods with loading of FCL/FCL condition.
The data were collected by observation, interviews, and literature studies. The method of writing the final project was descriptive.
The final project found that the activity of imported goods outflow could be conducted by the importer or the EMKL (the institution which handles the imported goods and the legalities of the import documents) after they complete all their obligation concerning with the documents with the sailing company, the customs office, and the boarding human resource in physical check and boarding the importing goods in TPKS (Semarang container stacking place). If have got permission from the customs officer and also from TPKS concerning obligation and document which must be done by EMKL, hence the imported goods have got exit permit and therefore can be sent to the importer’s warehouse.
