Pelaksanaan positioning sebagai program pemasaran pada PT Sinar Sosro kantor penjualan Bawen
Marketing is a process in obtaining and spreading products to people who need. The implementation of marketing is related to positioning, that is an action in designing supply and company’s image into mind of customers. A successful positioning will effect to marketing of products to consumers and improve sale.
Based on the statement above, the aim of this final project writing was to learn the marketing program implemented through positioning, which was conducted by PT Sinar Sosro Sale Office Bawen. The methods used in this final project were observation and direct communication (interviews). The result of the study was that PT Sinar Sosro Sale Office Bawen implemented positioning programs during 2008 and 2009, that were Positioning ACT and Positioning Sister City.
The implementation of Positioning ACT was felt unsuccessful, because the number of sale of products didn’t reach the target. After Positioning ACT ended, the company implemented Positioning Sister City. The difficulty on implementation of positioning programs was on sales person. It was recommended that PT Sinar Sosro Sale Office Bawen add the number of sales person and the number of sale fleet for
expanding the coverage of marketing region.
