In this era of globalisazation, the existence of the secretarial section is necessary to support the good management of any company. The same thing also applies to Semarang Municipility Owned Drinking Water Company. Being an employee in a secretarial section, someone needs to be accurate, effective and efficient, while working in accordance with the objectivities of the company that have been stated. Secretarial section helps the head of the company complete all the administration work,
The aim of this project was to know the activities of the secretarial section in the scope of receiving guests, handling incoming and out going calls, handling incoming and out going letters and doing the filing in helping the office administration and personnel officer of Semarang Municipility Owned Drinking Water Company.
The data were collected by observation, interviews, and literature studies, while the method of writing was descriptive. The secretarial section did the work of office administration to support the accomplishment of the company’s aims work well. In included receiving guests, handling incoming and out going calls, handling incoming and out going letters and filling, there were some weaknesses in carrying the task, so the secretarial section improve their administration work to get things done in a better condition.
