Realisasi Ekspor Komoditi Karet Pada PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang Tahun 2005-2009
World trade has been entering a globalization era, which is indicated by the emerging of the open market. The development of world trade means a great opportunity and a better chance for exporters particularly, in extending their activity to enter the international market. Doing export activities aims at increasing more revenue and higher profitability for exporting countries. One of the state owned enterprise which operates in agro industry sector is PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang which is located in Jalan Mugas Dalam Atas Semarang.
The purposes of the final assignment were to find out the export activity, the export mechanism and the export realization of rubber commodity at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang.
The report of the final assignment was written descriptively. The collected data were primary and secondary which were obtained through interviews, observation, internet browsing and literature studies.
Finally, it was concluded that the company has undergone the development stage of its export, the research was done by observing the company’s estimated volume and the performance of the export volume, production volume and the revenue and reported the result. By describing the export realization of rubber commodity, PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Semarang is found to be in the developing stage of its export for the last 5 years was fluctuative. It is expected that the firm’s future export will be in a better position.
