Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang is the port that is responsible for PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III. PT (PERSERO) Pelabuhan Indonesia III Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang is a Handling container company led by General Manager directly responsible for Director Manager. The purpose of this final project report is to find out the flow of freight movement that occured in the Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas Semarang under the responsibility of PT (PERSERO) Pelabuhan Indonesia III Terminal Petikemas Semarang.
The final project is descriptive. The techniques of collecting data are: observation, interview, and literature study. The types of data like qualitative that is the data about the picture of the task company and the function of the public - the function of the organisation part. The quantitative data are loading and unloading of the tariff and field services tariff for exporters or import through the port of Tanjung Emas. The primary data obtained from direct interviews to employees of Operations Division which handles the movement of export goods, the data secondary about the picture of the company of the public, the structure of the organisation, vision and the mission
The result of final project report shows that the role of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III Terminal Petikemas Semarang is to deal with the movement of export goods in the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. All items will be sent via the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang must follow the procedures set by the company. The first step is receiving container after that gates in prose and then stacked in the CY line items. After the document processing is completed the next stage is the process of loading and final destination of goods going to the State.
