Penerbitan Certificate Of Inspection Untuk Impor Barang Modal Bukan Baru Pada PT Surveyor Indonesia UWK Semarang
Trading between countries which is termed export-import has been increasing rapidly. Export is one of the sources of Government revenue. To encourage the export of non-oil commodities, the Government allows companies to import capital goods such as second hand machinery. To ensure the quality, the second hand goods must be inspected by surveyor. The result of the inspection is issued in the form of Certificate of Inspection. One of the Surveyor appointed by government to issue Certificate of Inspection is PT Surveyor Indonesia which is located at Jl. S. Parman No. 24C Semarang.
The purpose of the final assignment is to find out the procedure of issuing Certificate of Inspection on imported second hand goods, the parties involved in the inspection, the purpose of the inspection and the documents which are required in the inspection.
The report of the final assignment is written descriptively. Data collected were primary and secondary data which are obtained through interview, observation, internet research and literature studies.
The result of the final assignment are before issuing Certificate of Inspection PT Surveyor Indonesia inspect the goods includes document inspection, field inspection, and reporting the result in the form of Certificate of Inspection. The purpose of inspection is to verify whether the conditions and technique specification comply with the regulation set by the government. The parties involved are PT Surveyor Indonesia for Semarang area, exporter, importer, affiliates, Department of Industry and Commerce, and General Directorates of Customs. The document required are letter of inspection request, business license, import realization control card, import license, importer ID number, Tax Payer ID invoice, packing list, bill of lading, inspection report.
Finally, it is concluded that the procedure of issuing Certificate of Inspection includes receiving letter of inspection request, followed by inspection and reporting in the form of Certificate of Inspection. The parties involved are PT Surveyor Indonesia for Semarang area, exporter, importer, affiliates, Department of Industry and Commerce, and General Directorates of Customs. The document required are letter of inspection request, business license, import realization control card, import license, importer ID number, Tax Payer ID invoice, packing list, bill of lading, inspection report. It is recommended that PT Surveyor Indonesia improve coordination with related parties.
