Information Design System of Inventory Consumable Goods at Business Administration Department of Semarang State Polytechnic
Business Administration Department still uses manual method in managing the consumable inventory goods in the warehouse. By using computers, the operator can do the activities of storing work conveniently with various and relatively with large amount of data and will able to save storage space in better security. Currently, data processing can be done effectively and efficiently and will produce information more quickly and accurately.
The purpose of this final project is to Information Design System of Inventory Consumable Goods at Business Administration Department of Semarang State Polytechnic based Visual FoxPro 9.0 as a support tool that is effective and efficient to manage the consumable goods inventory in warehouse. The final project writing uses system analysis method, and the data are collected using observation, interview and literature studies.
The result of this final project is controlling the inventory consumable goods with accuracy to determine of goods in warehouse which has been spent out. Because this program has provided available data to be selected in completing the report and besides that it enables the user to use time effectively and efficiently.
