Prosedur penyimpanan arsip pada PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk Cabang Semarang
Archive is a record of a certain activity or event in every form and media according to the development of information and communication technology. Every company should manage their archive in order to achieve a good storage procedure. PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Semarang Branch is one of the public bank that concern to the archive storage procedure. The purpose of this study is to analyse archive storage procedures in PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Semarang Branch. This final project use descriptive qualitative writing technique, and method of collecting the data was observation, interview, and documentation. The analyse of the data was done by the reduction of the data, presentation and conclusion. The result shows that archive storage procedure in PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Semarang Branch was not going according to the procedure, and the company need a long time to rediscovery the archive. It is related with the lack of archive strorage equipment and the less number of archivist. It was concluded that PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Semarang Branch should have an additional archive storage equipmen and more archivist to organize the archive, so that the archive storage activity will run orderly and it’s based on the procedure.
