Prosedur Pensterilan Area Lapangan Penumpukan Container pada Terminal Petikemas Semarang
The purposes of this study were to determine the procedures and implementation of the sterilization at container yard area in TPKS, to know the purpose of carrying out the sterilization done by TPKS at the container yard area, to determine the constraints faced by TPKS authority while implementing the sterilization at container yard area, to determine the solution toward the constraints encountered while implementing the sterilization at container yard area.
The final project used descriptive method in which the writer presented precise, clear data which fit to the facts on the ground. while the type of data used in this study were qualitative and quantitative data taken from primary and secondary data. The collection methods in the preparation of the data in this final project were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies.
The implementation of CY on TPKS sterilization area is pretty good according to the procedure, but there are still some obstacles, but with good communication with vendors, employees, and the Customs and Excise Officers, the TPKS finally able to overcome the obstacles so that the purpose of doing the sterilization at TPKS CY area as for the safety, security and comfort together can be achieved.
