Payment System of Export Furniture Using Letter of Credit (L/C) at CV Kalingga Putra Jepara
The final project report is about payment system using Letter of Credit for exported furniture at CV Kalingga Putra Jepara. Each import-export activities cannot be separated from the payment system.
CV Kalingga Putra Jepara is a company engaged in the business of making products furniture that are located Jepara. All the products are exported to Germany, the Holland, and other countries. The system of receiving payment used by the company is Letter of Credit. The company accept Sight and Usance L/C.
The purposes of this project report are, to identify the parties and documents involved, the barrier and the solution, and the payment system of export furniture using Letter of Credit (L/C) and also to know how the documents are negotiated and UCP is applied.
The final project report is written descriptively. The data collecting method are interview, literature, and observation. The kinds of data are qualitative data and quantitative data.
In the use of Letter of Credit, CV Kalingga Putra Jepara has several barriers, they are discrepant documents and confirmation of swift acceptance. The company overcomes the discrepant documents by adjusting to the terms and conditions stipulated in Letter of Credit.
