Limited market and bad publicity are the main causes of not reaching the maximum turnover at CV. Sri Indah Juwana. The rapid development of Internet technology can support Web-commerce applications to provide information and boost the sell of company products.
The purpose of this final project is to design a Web-commerce website of the CV. Sri Indah Juwana as a media publicity to products selling via the internet/online.
The method used by writer was doing literature studies to apply system Web -commerce, then planned a web-commerce design and realized it through designing the Web-commerce website.
The conclusion was that the Web-commerce website had been successfully designed with a Content Management System Joomla 1.5 and was combined with the MySQL database. The advantages of designing the Web- commerce website are time and cost savings compared to ordering directly by coming to the company and moreover, the buyers can view the product catalog by themselves directly on this website.
