Alih kapal barang ekspor dan dampak yang ditimbulkan pada PT (Persero) pelabuhan Indonesia III Terminal Petikemas Semarang
PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia III unit Terminal Peti Kemas is a container yard and heavy equipment transporters of container rent companies and the docks as a place to ship anchorage which is instrumental in international trade of import export activities. Transhipment is an activity to be done because of certain reasons such as over-booking, the lack of required documents and others. This incident will cause impacts to related parties as Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang (TPKS), exporters, shipping company, and importers. In this case, the owner must do some procedures for the transhipment, especially in Terminal Peti Kemas Semarang.
The purposes of this final report are to find out the documents required in transhipment process, to identify the procedures of transhipment and the impacts and to know the parties involved in the process of transhipment.
The data used in this final project are collected though interviews, literature reviews and observation. It is written descriptively and qualitative analysis.
The result of this final project showed that the procedures of exported goods transhipment at PT.(Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia III unit Terminal Peti Kemas begins by "EMKL" making a written request of transhipment to the shipping company and "TPKS". Then "EMKL" must buy the letter and pay some money to the bank, after that submitted to the clerk of export services to get job order as a command for transhipment. Some impacts of transhipment are disruption of the pattern of stacking plan in TPKS. the exporters must pay extra cost, the importers delayed receives the goods not on time and for the shipping company is disruption of the process of loading and unloading in the ship.
