Pengaruh Orientasi Kewirusausahaan, Kapasitas Penyerapan, dan Jaringan Antar Perusahaan Terhadap Kinerja Ekspor: Studi Terhadap Eksportir Furniture di Jawa Tengah = Influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation, Absorptive Capacity, and Inter-firm Networking on Export Performance: A Study of Wooden Furniture Exporters in Central Java
Drawing upon the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capability theory, this study aims to examine the positive influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO), Absorptive Capacity (AC), and Inter-firm Networking (IFN) on the Export Performance (EP) of wooden furniture exporters in Central Java. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using primary data collected with questionnaires from a sample of 151 wooden furniture exporters in Central Java. The sample was drawn from the region's main hubs for wooden furniture exports, such as Jepara, Demak, Blora, and Semarang. Using a judgment sampling method, only wooden furniture businesses that had exported for at least two years were included. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS technique. The findings reveal a positive influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation, Absorptive Capacity, and Inter-firm Networking on Export Performance. Specifically, these strategic capabilities were found to positively drive the export success of the wooden furniture exporters, affirming their crucial role in the competitive global market. This study offers practical implications for wooden furniture exporters, emphasizing the importance of enhancing entrepreneurial orientation, absorptive capacity, and inter-firm networking as strategic capabilities to improve their export performance.
