Pengaruh Motivasi Karyawan dan Kepuasan Karyawan terhadap Pengurangan Niat Mengundurkan Diri pada Bank X Semarang = The Influence Of Employee Motivation and Employee Satisfaction on Reducing Turnover Intention at Bank X Semarang
This study aims to examine the influence of employee motivation and job satisfaction on reducing turnover intention among employees. The research was conducted at a company in the banking sector with a total of 79 respondents. Quantitative methods were used, and data were collected through questionnaires. The analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results showed that employee motivation has a significant and positive effect on reducing turnover intention, meaning that higher motivation is associated with a lower desire to leave the organization. On the other hand, job satisfaction did not have a statistically significant effect on turnover intention. These findings suggest that while job satisfaction remains important, motivation plays a more direct role in influencing employee retention. The implications of this study highlight the importance of motivational strategies in reducing turnover intention in the workplace.
