The Effect of FoMO (Fear of Missing Out), Influencers, Investment Return and Financial Literacy on Cryptocurrency Investment Decisions among Generation Z in Semarang City = The Effect of FoMO (Fear of Missing Out), Influencers, Investment Return and Financial Literacy on Cryptocurrency Investment Decisions among Generation Z in Semarang City
This research aims to analyze and determine the effect of fomo (fear of missing out),
influencers, investment returns, and financial literacy on cryptocurrency investment
decisions among Generation Z in Semarang City. The research design is a
quantitative causal research. The population in this research consists of all
Generation Z individuals who have invested or previously invested in
cryptocurrency in Semarang City. The data used in this research are primary and
secondary. The sample size was 113 respondents, collected through a questionnaire
using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique employed the Multiple
Linear Regression Analysis Model. The data analysis techniques used were the F-
Statistic Test, the Coefficient of Determination Test (Adjusted R Square), and the t-
Statistic Test Model. The results of the analysis and discussion indicate that the
variables of fear of missing out (fomo), influencers, investment returns, and
financial literacy partially have a significant effect on cryptocurrency investment
decisions among Generation Z in Semarang City.
