Ratio (PER) Approach And Relatives Strength Index (RSI) Indicator As A Basis For Investment
Decision Making”, Thesis, Department of Accounting, Politeknik Negeri Semarang, under the
guidance of Muhammad Rois, S.E., M.Sc., and Prihatiningsih, S.E., M.M., December 2024, 78
pages.
This study aims to analyze the results of stock valuation based on fundamental analysis and
technical analysis with the Price Earning Ratio (PER) approach and the Relative Strenght Index
(RSI) indicator as a basis for stock investment decisions in the capital market. The sample
collection technique uses purposive sampling technique and there are four companies that meet
the criteria. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that
with the fundamental analysis of all companies in the research sample, namely BBCA, BBRI,
BMRI, and BBNI, they are in an overvalued condition. Based on technical analysis, an RSI
signal is obtained which tends to be high even though it has not exceeded the overbought point.
The best decision that can be taken by investors is not to buy shares or sell shares because the
share price is in a fairly high or expensive condition.
