In the modern era, online shopping has become an integral part of daily life, driven by technological advancements and changes in consumer behavior. Despite the growing demand, many e-commerce companies face financial challenges due to intense competition, high operational costs, and the pressure to achieve rapid scalability. This study aims to analyse the performance of e-commerce companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2022 to 2023 using the Balanced Scorecard approach. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing literature on e-commerce performance evaluation and provide valuable insights for e-commerce companies, and investors in Indonesia. With a descriptive applied quantitative method, the research analyses financial data to address business phenomena and assess their impact on company performance. The findings indicate a consistent decline in performance across the studied companies. The research results indicate that the performance of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk decreabsed from 61% (BBB) in 2022 to 48% (BB) in 2023, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk dropped from 51% (BBB) to 38% (B), and PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk declined from 41% (BB) to 38% (B). Overall, the analysis shows a decline in performance across the three companies studied. These results highlight the need for improved financial strategies and operational efficiencies to enhance the financial health of Indonesian e-commerce companies.
