This study aims to analyze the factors influencing user acceptance of the Access by KAI application. The population consists of all users of the Access by KAI mobile application in Operational Area 4 (Daop 4) Semarang, with a minimum sample of 200 respondents. This research employs a quantitative approach using online questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) to assess validity, reliability, and relationships among variables.
The results indicate that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and trust & safety have a significant positive effect on behavioral intention, whereas effort expectancy and perceived risk have a negative effect. The moderating variables of age, gender, and usage frequency show limited influence on the relationships among UTAUT2 variables.
These findings highlight the importance of improving system stability, transaction security, and an enjoyable user experience to encourage the sustainable adoption of the Access by KAI application. The results are expected to serve as a reference for PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in optimizing its transportation digitalization strategies.
