Sistem penataan penumpukan petikemas ekspor impor pada PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (PERSERO) Terminal Petikemas Semarang
One of the factors that influence the effectiveness and efficiency of maritime transport is the packing of goods prior to distribution, where the packaging system is widely used at present in the form of containers. Along with industrial development, the flow of goods in containers will also increase rapidly and therefore requires a process of handling containers, stacking of containers and container handling equipment optimally. Semarang International Container Terminal, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) is located in strategic location at the centre of java island, mainly service activities of container terminal handling which is reliable, safe, and integrated between mode and also supported with sophisticated information technology, to fulfill the user requirements.
The aims the final project are, firstly, to identify the system of stacking settlement of export and import container, secondly, to know related documents, thirdly, to describe the obtacles in stacking settlement of the container.
The result shows that stacking settlement of export and import container at Semarang International Container Terminal, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) consider a few things before stacking container, such us stacking container based on service and kind of cargo.
Finally, the prime document before stacking container is monthly ship berth plan for booking slot container at container yard. The obstacles of stacking container are disable allocation and handling equipment, unvalid data, and highly settlement
