Office is very important for a company to carry out the business activities. One supporting factor for office is the smoothness of it’s layout. It can also provide a comfortable atmosphere for them in completing the work.
The aim of the final project is to know about the arrangement of office layout, the physical environment and to give some alternative of office layout arrangement to be better at Plasa Pahlawan of Unit Costumer Care Area Semarang PT Telkom Indonesia Regional Division IV Jateng & DIY. Data were collected by doing observation, literature study and interview with some customers and employees of Plasa Pahlawan of Unit Costumer Care Area Semarang PT Telkom Indonesia Regional Division IV Jateng & DIY.
This office use open office layout. It was found that chairs of customer were not comfortable. According to interview with some employees, it was found that their table wasn’t big enough to put their office equipment. Employee’s chairs were found that its having according to office ergonomic. This office always kept clean. The office provide mineral water for the employees and customer that need to drink. The air temperature is 24° C that was comfortable to work. The lighting use 80 spot lights and wall colour is white. In conclusion that on arrangement of customer’s chair should be rearranged and added more chairs to be comfortable and work table need replacement.
