The Effect of Leverage and Profitability to Predict the Financial Distress at Persero Commercial Banks (Period: 2018-2021) = The Effect of Leverage and Profitability to Predict the Financial Distress at Persero Commercial Banks (Period: 2018-2021)
This research aims to know the effect of leverage and profitability to predict the financial distress at Persero Commercial Banks (Period: 2018-2021). This research design is causal quantitative research.
The research sample uses a purposive sampling method. The samples in this research are four banks that fall into the category of Persero Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The data analysis method uses the logistic regression analysis using SPSS 25.00 for Windows software.
The results of the simultaneous test using the omnibus test show that
simultaneously, the variables DER, DAR, ROA, and ROE have a significant effect on predicting the financial distress at Persero Commercial Banks for the period of 2018-2021. Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing using the wald test show
that DER partially has a positive but not significant effect on financial distress, DAR partially has a positive but not significant effect on financial distress, ROA partially has a negative and not significant effect on financial distress, and ROE partially has a negative and not significant effect on financial distress at Persero Commercial Banks for the period of 2018-2021.
