The growth of international trade creates most countries do the free trade and expand to share their producst. To make the higher profit, some companies may do the violations. It will damage to the trading in Indonesia and lower the income of tax in Indonesia. The Customs should to make tightener surveillance and give stricter sanctions to the violators of customs and excise for get securing income of tax in Indonesia, So it was need solutions to solve the problem.
The purposes of this research were to identify the effectifity handling from violations of import goods in customs and excise by law of customs number 10 in 1995 and identify the effectifity new solution of custom and excise office to handle the violations of import goods in some fields.
The methods of collecting data were observation, interviews, and literature studies. The final assignment was written descriptively. The result of this research showed that handling the violations of import goods at custom and excise had done based on the law of custom number 10 in 1995.
It is recommended to customs and excise office to give consideration for smuggling goods done with mode inter island, because it can occur on every island without being examined in costoms area because of low surveillance and the result will make the income of tax in indonesia will go down.
