Developing a System of Determining The Cost of Goods Manufactured Through a Variable Costing Approach at Leksana Batik Jaya
This study aims to design and build an information system to calculate the cost of goods manufactured quickly and accurately to help determine the selling price of products. It can produce reports on the cost of goods manufactured, goods inventory report, production reports, direct labor reports, raw and auxiliary material inventory cards, and tool usage cards. The research method used for this research is Research and Development (R&D) and the object of this study is Leksana Batik Jaya. The system development method used in this study is the prototyping method with the JavaScript programming language and MySql database. The testing system used is the Black Box Testing and White Box Testing methods. The results of the design and development of a web-based information system in Leksana Batik Jaya produce an application that Leksana Batik Jaya can use to facilitate and assist businesses in determining the cost of goods manufactured to determine selling prices and in the preparation of reports related to production activities. The information system is used to help record costs during production activities to produce a fast and precise cost of goods produced. The reports are the cost of goods manufactured reports, goods inventory reports, production reports, labor reports, material supply cards, and tool cards.
